Q. How much do you charge?

A: Oh my, we get this question daily! Actually it varies depending on your choice of items. You can view our most common decor prices here as a guideline. A typical small child’s party or baby shower ranges from a minimum of $150 to $500. Birthday parties and Anniversaries average at $500+ and large corporate events can range in the upwards of $1,000's plus. All we ask is that you set a budget and we will assist you in choosing and creating the prefect Decor for your venue.

Q. Do you have a minimum?

A: Yes. Monday through Thursday, our decor minimum is $100.00 and our basic delivery minimum fee is $50. On Friday and Weekends, our decor minimum is $200+ and basic deliveries are $50. Our minimum does not include delivery, setup, or tax. Our delivery fee is based on a 40 mile radius of our local area code of 24502.

Q. Can I provide my own balloons?

A: No, Typically we don’t allow customers to purchase balloons unless they are specialty balloons with custom printed logos or personalized messages for corporate deco. We only use and inflate professional grade balloons and can only guarantee the quality of our design and we can guarantee the quality of the balloons we use.

Q. How do I book your services?

A: We encourage you to complete the “request a quote” form or call us at (804)372-7394.

Q. How much notice do you need?

A: Planning ahead is essential to your special day! We ask that you schedule 3 to 6 months in advance for large events. Individual items can be scheduled 2 weeks in advance to allow prepping and ordering if needed. We will try to accommodate some last minute request as our schedule permits.

Q. When should I book my event?

A: We recommend that you book your balloon decor as soon as possible, sign a contract and pay a retainer fee to assure your event date and time to be guaranteed. Typically we are able to create designs within a 2 week period depending on the event size and the type of decor needed.

Q. Do you have a retail store?

A: No, we do not have a retail store, but choose to work from a studio. This gives us greater flexibility to create custom balloon decorations for our customers at all hours.

Q. Why is there a delivery, setup and or strike charge?

A: Our delivery charge depends on the location of the event and our setup charge depends on the complexity of the set-up. A strike charge is when we return and remove the decor and retrieve our equipment(then the popping starts, pop, pop)this is not required for all event types.

Q. How long does it take to setup my decor?

A: Depending on the size and design of your decoration, it normally can take 1 - 4 hour(s) to build and set up your balloon decoration. We recommend that you allow at least 4 hours before event start time to allow for set-up, repair and replacement if needed. Some events my take longer, which will require special planning prior to your event date.

Q. When and how can I pay for services?

A: You will receive a email containing a Quote with all details of your event and decorations that will be prepared for your event. After you receive your Quote, to book our services you simply:
1. Review and accept quote (online)
2. Review and sign contract- electronically
3. Make a payment by the due date online.

Once you have completed these steps your event will be considered "booked". Unless a payment is received we cannot reserve your event date and time and it will remain open. Due to the nature of our business we cannot hold dates without a deposit reservation fee. Payments may be made using PayPal, Debit card, Credit card, business check, money orders or cash. Personal checks must be submitted 10 days prior to your final event payment.

Q. How do I cancel an order?

A: You may cancel an order with written notice prior to us not less than Seven (7) days prior to date of event. In the event of a cancellation we retain the right to apply fees as follows:
For cancellations within 7 business days of event – “Customer” may be issued a "Rain-check" and a 20% fee will be access to cover expenses incurred for preparation of event, which includes but is not limited to: cost of materials, operating cost & lost wages. If less than 48 hours notice is given any balance paid is forfeit.

All cancellation requests must be made in writing and postmarked or email stamped within the guidelines of this agreement. The Rain-check is good for the same or equivalent design within one year of the canceled event date that can be worked into the decorator’s schedule and is subject to time and date availability. If the customer does not schedule within that year, the deposit balance is forfeit.

Q. Are there any safety precautions?

A: Yes. Do not breathe helium from a balloon. Helium is neither toxic nor flammable, but breathing it can result in asphyxiation (loss of consciousness due to insufficient oxygen). Do not release Mylar (foil) balloons outdoors. Power failures can result if these balloons become entangled in electric lines. Popped latex balloons present a choking hazard for small children. Do not leave small children unaccompanied with latex balloons. Although it rarely occurs, some people are known to have a “latex allergy”, if this pertains to you or your guest we have decor alternatives available. Q. Are our balloons biodegradable?

A: Yes, we use only the best latex balloons available, Qualatex! you will be provided with the highest quality balloons in the world! Qualatex balloons are made from 100% natural latex, not cheap plastic fillers, making them biodegradable.

Q. How long will my balloons last?

A: Balloon life span varies depending if the decor is air-filled or helium-filled. Indoor use Air-filled decor can last from weeks to months under the right temperature conditions and gradually shrink. The average float times for latex balloons with helium is 18-24 hours, if treated with Ultra Hi-Float it can increase the flying time of latex up to 25 times longer than untreated balloons. We can treat balloons with ultra-high float for outdoor use for longer flying times, but due to Mother Nature and uncontrollable temperatures, all balloons will oxidize and float times will be shorter.

Q. What is Ultra Hi-Float?

A: Ultra Hi-Float is a liquid sealant which coats the interior surface of latex balloons and reduces the speed at which helium escapes through the latex pores. When applied to balloons to be used indoors, it can increase the float time by several days. Hi-Float is non-toxic and water-soluble.

Q. What prevents balloons from popping?

A: Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, sharp or hot objects, tiled ceilings, and dry grass.

Do you donate balloons or offer discounts to non-profit organizations?

A: Yes, We are very active in our community and would be happy to hear all about your cause. We do offer a 10% discount to all non-profit agencies and the delivery fee is waived. Please tell us all about your event and enter our annual drawing by completing our request a quote “form” This will insure your entry for Decor valued at $250. All entries must be submitted by December 31, of each year. We will draw “2” winners on January 2, to plan for your organization.
